Job Title: Training and Job Matching Coordinator

Turning Tables Jordan is a non-profit organization that empowers marginalized youth in Jordan through music design, film, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to build creative environments through inspiration, learning, and transfer of technology that enables artistic self-expression in spaces where it would otherwise be thought impossible. With the provision of tools and professional capacity for creative communication, we aim to empower young refugees and the local communities to tell their own stories to a global audience.
Job Responsibilities:
Assess the skills, interests, and career goals of program participants, and help them to develop resumes and cover letters.
Identify internships and job opportunities that align with the interests and goals of program participants.
Secure job internships according to the program's indicators.
Secure the collection and submission of participants' business plans according to the program's indicators.
Coordinate with employers to arrange interviews and job offers for program participants.
Provide support and guidance to program participants throughout the internship or job placement process, including helping them to develop their skills and prepare for the workplace.
Monitor the progress of program participants during their internships or jobs, and provide ongoing support and feedback as needed.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the internship and job placement process, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
Two years of experience in career counseling, job placement, or entrepreneurship training, particularly in a training setting or with NGOs.
Two years of experience in communication and networking skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and network with program participants, employers, and other stakeholders in the training and entrepreneurship sectors.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities related to training and job placement activities.
Knowledge of current hiring and entrepreneurship trends, as well as best practices in career counseling and job placement.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with employers, NGOs, and other partners in the training and entrepreneurship sectors, and to leverage those relationships to secure internship and job opportunities for program participants.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to identify and address issues that arise during the training and job placement process.
Flexibility and adaptability to changing program needs and priorities related to training and job placement activities.
Experience with data collection and evaluation to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement in the training and job placement sectors.
Proficient knowledge of Google Docs Editors suite
Proficiency in Arabic language is a must.
Proficiency in the English language is a plus.
Contract Type:
This position is a service provider contract tied with targets of the program's indicators and a base salary.
