Turning Tables Jordan is a non-profit organization that empowers marginalized youth in Jordan through music design, film, and entrepreneurship. Our mission is to build creative environments through inspiration, learning, and transfer of technology that enables artistic self-expression in spaces where it would otherwise be thought impossible. With the provision of tools and professional capacity for creative communication, we aim to empower young refugees and the local communities to tell their own stories to a global audience.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the program manager with the development and implementation of the program plan, including setting goals and objectives, identifying resources and funding sources, and creating timelines and budgets.

  • Coordinate logistics for the program, such as scheduling classes, workshops, or other activities, arranging transportation or accommodations for participants, and ordering supplies or equipment. This will involve close coordination with both the Operations Manager and Programs Manager.

  • Provide support to program staff, including the Training and Job Matching Coordinator, Technical Skills Trainer, and Entrepreneurship Expert & Consultant, by managing communications, coordinating schedules, and resolving issues or conflicts as they arise.

  • Maintain records and data for the program, including tracking attendance, completion rates, and other metrics, and producing reports as needed.

  • Assist with the evaluation of the program, including conducting surveys or interviews with participants, collecting and analyzing data, and making recommendations for improvement.

  • Provide MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) assistance in cooperation with the Programs Manager and reporting to the Country Director.

  • Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders, such as participants, employers, funders, and community leaders.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, business administration, or social sciences.

  • Two years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in a nonprofit or education-related setting.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with staff, participants, and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in Google Docs Editors suites.

  • Experience with data collection and evaluation to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing program needs and priorities.

  • Proficiency in Arabic language is a must.

  • Proficiency in the English language is a plus.


Contract Type:

This position is a service provider contract tied with targets of the program's indicators and a base salary.
