With the provision of tools and professional capacity for creative communication, we aim to empower young refugees and the local communities to tell their own stories to a global audience.


Job Responsibilities:

As a Content Creation Trainer, you will be responsible for providing training and support to young people benefitting from market-responsive, technical skills development, including on-the-job training, referencing Turning Tables Jordan's Content Creation Design Outline. You will work closely with the Programs Manager, Operations Manager, Projects Assistant, and Training and Job Matching Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of Output Stream 2.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering training programs that help young people to develop technical skills in content creation, including graphic design, photography, and videography, using Turning Tables Jordan's Content Creation Design Outline.

  • Assessing the young trainees with their content curated project, as individuals & teams.

  • Providing guidance and support to young people during their on-the-job training, including supporting them to develop their skills and prepare for the workplace.

  • Assisting the Training and Job Matching coordinator with right data and guidance about the young people who have the potential of being matched with employment opportunities.

  • Collaborating with the Programs Manager, Operations Manager, Projects Assistant, and Training and Job Matching Coordinator to develop and implement strategies for achieving Indicator O2.1: Technical Skills Development and Indicator O2.2: Labor Market Linkage.


Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as graphic design, media studies, or communications.

  • At least two years of experience in content creation, graphic design, photography, and videography.

  • Experience in providing training and support to young people in technical skills development, preferably within a non-profit or development context.

  • Familiarity with Turning Tables Jordan's Content Creation Design Outline.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing program needs and priorities related to training and job placement activities.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address issues that arise during the training process.

  • Fluency in English and Arabic.

  • A visual portfolio is a plus.


Contract Type:

This position is a service provider contract tied with targets of the program's indicators and a base salary.
