Majd aka “BA” is a Palestinian/Jordanian Rapper/Musician who has been working with Turning Tables on festivals and workshops since 2011, He was in charge of setting up Turning Tables Jordan Lab making multiple film and music pop schools for refugees and marginalized youth all around Jordan, Recently he is focusing on expanding the effective area of Turning Tables activities for MENA region.

As Khotta BA he released his first solo album in 2012 music produced by Damar Sensei, Distributed by Immortal Entertainment, since the BA has been live performing and collaborating with the regions finest Artists as Mothanna Hussein, Lil Asaf, Muqata'a, Taymour Dakn and more. Majd holds BA degree of Civil Engineering certified from the Faculty of Engineering Technology at the BAU-Amman, He worked in Art direction and Set Design on various film sets ranged from hollywood and Netflix to local DIY music videos.

Abdulhadi zakria -Film Instructor

Meet Abdelhadi Zakariya. As the new Film Instructor for Turning Tables Jordans CLIQ project AZ sees an opportunity to make a difference for Jordan’s youth, by focusing on how they can contribute to solving community issues by being encouraged to become the change they themselves want to see in the world.

Passion is the main driver for Abdelhadi Zakariya who over the past 10 years has contributed to the Jordanian film industry with a throng of TV Shows, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and had a short film nominated for several Film Festivals.

RAKAN JREISAT

MUSIC INSTRUCTOR

Rakan is a certified audio engineer, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist who facilitates music and audio training. Rakan has produced music in 2019 that gained a wide reach in “Empowering youth through music” projects with Turning Tables Jordan. One of the main goals he aims to achieve is unlocking the potential the youth has to discover their own sounds and express themselves freely through sound and music. 

ESAM ALMULAZEM

FINANCIAL MANAGER

Esam Almulazem is a lead professional finance officer where he worked as an external audit supervisor for six years in one of the biggest auditing firms in Amman – Arab Professionals (Members of Grant Thornton Intl).

He also worked as a financial analyst supervisor for one year in Alkhaldi hospital and medical center. He worked for two years as a finance manager in international NGO and finally worked for three years as a group budgeting and reporting manager in BCI Group.

Nadia Al Masri - Communications Officer

During her studies of marketing at al Balqa University, Nadia started to participate in volunteering activities to figure out what she really wanted to do in her life and what her interest was. She volunteered with a cultural initiative in 2014 that became a cultural and art organization, it was the first safe space for youth and children in Salt city. Nadia started as a volunteer, and by 2018 she was the coordinator of the cultural program.

She has more than 5 years of experience working and volunteering with local and international NGOs, festivals, and other kinds of cultural and art activities inside and outside of Jordan. In 2019 she did a one year volunteering project in the Netherlands. Currently, she started her first podcast program about social issues and stereotypes in Jordan.

MOHAMMAD BARROQ

Mohammed Barroq, AKA, Moe Barroq or M. Barroq, ia a creative director, visual communication designer and design educator. He has the tendency to interpret ideas visually with a problem solving mentality. Moe Barroq worked with some NGOs and startups to Art Direct and implement visual communication projects, on the side, he gives design tips and tricks on YouTube through two channels.

Hala is a musician and began practicing music at a young age. The young artist pursued her passion for music while studying marketing at the American University of Madaba.
In 2014 she joined Drum Jam (a percussion group). She says that being part of the group when she was in university gave her a huge push; they supported me a lot, and it’s still ongoing.
She explained that by teaching music, she is helping other individuals to achieve his or her dreams. She added that “It is very important to teach music for children in school, so there will be more awareness for people to know about what music is.”

CALL ME ISMAEL
The CLIQ project will roll out two years of creative training, project management, internships, educational training and events for youth in two govenorates. This will acquire a massive logistical effort to coordinate and execute and Turning Tables Jordan are thrilled to welcome Mohammad Ismail as our logistical coordinator.

Mohammad has 5 years of experience serving as logistics, operations, and office management coordinator for a USAID Health Finance & Governance project,Alpha Omega in Egypt, and Yazoor Trade, Industry, and Investment CO. in Jordan. He holds a degree in Logistic Science from the German Jordanian University, with studies in Logistics and supply Chain Management at Kempten University in Germany.

MOHAMMAD NABEEL

FILM INSTRUCTOR

Mohammad Nabeel aka El Sarafandi, is a cinematographer, visual storyteller, and street photographer with an MFA degree in Film Studies from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. For the past 10 years Sarafandi has worked on a vast number of productions ranging from short documentaries, short films, TV programs and music videos. His passion is to experiment with the picture to create an alternative narrative for life as we see it.

Daro studied journalism at Damascus university. Early in her studies, she started working on putting spotlight on women’s rights in the media. After moving abroad back in 2010, she took her storytelling skills into film making.
